Course Summary

Studio Arts – Photography Year 10 Are you creative? Enjoy Photography? Studying Year 10 Art – Photography you will explore a range of manual and digital photographic techniques to investigate the characteristics and aesthetics of the materials. You will also explore and document individual ideas in your folio throughout the semester. This will require you to investigate and respond to a range of artists and artworks to develop critical writing skills.

Learning Activities & Assessment

  • Develop or improve skills & techniques in using an SLR camera, lighting skills, composition techniques, darkroom management and develop photographs
  • Manipulate photographic images through manual and digital processes
  • Learn how to present finished artworks
  • Keep a visual diary that records techniques and ideas related to practical work
