Why is studying Humanities important?

The study of Humanities allows you to understand the world around. What has happened in the past shapes the present. Humanities will allow you to have a taste of what VCE Humanities subjects are like. Pay attention in Humanities and you may have the answers for the next Trivia night.

Do I have to study Units 1 and 2 Twentieth Century History to study Units 3 and 4 Revolutions?

No you do not. History subjects do not have to be taken in a sequence. You can go into Units 3 and 4 Revolutions without having studied Units 1 and 2 Twentieth Century History. The same applies for Ancient History.
